It was held yesterday in Foiano Valfortore a meeting of training and dissemination within the European Project Step 2 Sport, with the theme: energy efficiency.
The day was organized dall'ASEA, in collaboration with the municipal administration of Foiano. Our company, in fact, It is the Italian reference of the European project "STEP 2 SPORT – Renovation towards nearly zero energy Sport buildings” che vede impegnati 12 partners from different countries of the European Union. The purpose of the project is to improve in practice the energy efficiency of different types of sports: halls, gyms, swimming pool, ice rink, spas, indoor courts.
The municipal gym of Foiano Valfortore, location of the meeting, Italian is one of four pilot cases (36 throughout Europe) object of study and / or energy efficiency improvement measures.
They have been identified and appropriate innovative energy efficiency methodologies and use of renewable energy, to be implemented in each pilot building, with the aim of reaching, progressively, In the next 10 years the condition of NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Buildings). Measures taken in the pilot cases, They will of course be replicated on a large scale, for specific sports facilities.
